Tok-Edge

Tok-Edge is a pioneering decentralized compute and storage network optimized specifically for serving high-bandwidth video and audio content. It acts as a Web3 alternative to traditional Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) like AWS CloudFront, but focuses exclusively on the needs of independent streaming platforms, content creators, and social media applications.

By utilizing unused bandwidth and storage capacity from thousands of independent node operators around the world, Tok-Edge provides censorship-resistant, low-latency content delivery at a fraction of the cost of centralized enterprise solutions.

The architecture of Tok-Edge relies on a "Proof of Delivery" (PoD) consensus algorithm. Node operators (Edge Nodes) are required to cryptographically prove that they have successfully delivered cached video segments to end-users with sufficient speed and quality. This ensures that the network remains highly performant and reliable.

For developers, the platform offers a plug-and-play API that easily integrates with existing streaming architectures.
