Aligned

Aligned is a powerful Decentralized Identity (DID) and Reputation protocol that allows users to build a portable, verifiable on-chain profile without compromising their privacy. It solves the critical "Sybil problem" in Web3 by providing protocols with a reliable way to differentiate between real humans and automated bot networks.

Instead of relying on invasive KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures, Aligned uses zero-knowledge cryptography to allow users to prove their humanity and reputation based on their past on-chain behavior, social media presence, and community contributions.

The core product is the "Aligned Passport," a soulbound token (SBT) that aggregates a user's credentials across different platforms. Users can link their Twitter, Discord, Github, and various crypto wallets to their Passport. The protocol then analyzes this data to generate a "Trust Score."

Because Aligned uses Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs), when a user connects their Passport to a new dApp, they only share the required cryptographic proof (e.g., "I am a real human with a Trust Score over 50") without ever revealing their actual linked addresses or personal data to the application.

Aligned is currently running its "Identity Genesis" campaign. Users earn points for creating a Passport, linking highly active or aged accounts, and completing verification quests set by partner protocols who are testing the Sybil-resistance features.

The $ALGN token will be distributed based on these accumulated points and the final Trust Score achieved. The protocol is already being integrated by several major DeFi platforms to gate access to premium yield farms and prevent bot manipulation during token launches.

To start earning rewards, you must mint your Aligned Passport on the official website. The more established and active accounts you link to your Passport—such as old Ethereum wallets, active GitHub profiles, or aged Twitter accounts—the higher your initial Trust Score and point allocation will be.

You can earn ongoing points by using your Passport to access gated communities and dApps within the Aligned partner network. Every time you successfully generate a Zero-Knowledge proof to verify your identity for a partner protocol, you earn activity points.

Participating in the protocol's "Trust Graph Verification" process, where users vouch for the authenticity of community leaders, is another heavily incentivized activity. Maintain high security practices, as losing access to linked accounts can negatively impact your Trust Score.
