Hyperliquid Names

Hyperliquid Names (HLN) is the native decentralized identity and naming service built specifically for the Hyperliquid L1 ecosystem. Similar to the Ethereum Name Service (ENS), it allows users to replace their complex, alphanumeric wallet addresses with human-readable usernames ending in ".hl" (e.g., trader.hl).

By integrating a naming service at the base layer, Hyperliquid aims to improve the user experience and reduce transaction errors across its entire high-performance DeFi ecosystem. It acts as the foundational building block for reputation and identity on the network.

The HLN protocol does more than just simplify addresses. It acts as a universal profile within the Hyperliquid ecosystem. Users can link their Twitter accounts, Discord profiles, and trading statistics directly to their ".hl" name, creating a verifiable on-chain identity.

As Hyperliquid focuses heavily on high-frequency trading and perpetual futures, a user's ".hl" name can serve as a reputation badge. Leaderboards, copy-trading platforms, and social forums within the ecosystem will natively display these names instead of anonymous wallet strings.

The project is currently executing its "Pioneer Registration Campaign." Early adopters who register their names and integrate them into their Hyperliquid profiles are accumulating "Identity Points." These points will dictate eligibility for the future $HLN token.

The platform features a fully decentralized marketplace where users can trade, auction, and rent out premium or highly sought-after names. The revenue generated from registrations is governed by the community treasury.

To participate in the Hyperliquid Names airdrop, the mandatory first step is to register a ".hl" domain on the official portal using your Hyperliquid wallet. Registering shorter, premium names or multiple names generally yields a higher point allocation.

Once registered, you must set your domain as your "Primary Name." This ensures that your human-readable username is displayed across all supported dApps and leaderboards on the network, which is a key metric tracked by the airdrop algorithm.

You can earn significant bonus points by actively trading and building a reputation under your new name on the main Hyperliquid DEX. Participating in the domain marketplace—buying and selling names—also demonstrates active engagement with the protocol.
